A Tonybet guide built for Canada
We cover one brand in one market. That sounds narrow, and it is on purpose: when a site tries to review two hundred casinos, nobody has time to read the cashier rules of any of them properly.
Tonybet has been around since 2009, when poker player Antanas "Tony G" Guoga started it, and today it runs a casino and a sportsbook side by side. In Canada it works under two separate arrangements. Players in Ontario use tonybet.ca, which appears in the iGaming Ontario directory of regulated sites. Players in the rest of the country use the Tonybet site covered by a Kahnawake Gaming Commission permit held by Osauhing Tonybet. Those two set-ups have different rules about bonuses, advertising and age, and a lot of confusion online comes from mixing them up.
This site exists to untangle that. Every page answers one question a Canadian player actually types into a search bar, from how old you need to be to whether a no deposit code exists, and every answer is written so you can act on it straight away.

When a page is checked again and nothing has changed, only the Checked date moves; when the text changes, Updated moves too. That way you can tell a fresh page from a stale one at a glance.
His focus areas are the ones that cost Canadian players money when they go wrong: licence status by province, wagering rules on bonuses, withdrawal limits and verification. Method
How we check a page before it goes live
A page is only as good as its weakest fact, so each one passes the same five steps. None of them involve copying another affiliate site.
- Start from the operator's own words
Bonus amounts, wagering, time limits and payment methods come from Tonybet's terms and its cashier. If the page says 35x, it is because the terms say 35x.
- Match every licence claim to a register
Kahnawake's permit-holder list and the iGaming Ontario directory are public. A licence that cannot be found there is not mentioned.
- Use the source for game data
RTP, volatility and maximum win come from the game studio. When a studio publishes several RTP versions, we say so instead of quoting the highest one.
- Write for the province, not for "Canada" in general
Age limits, advertising rules and bonus availability differ between Ontario and the rest of the country, so we say which rule applies where.
- Re-check on a schedule
Terms change quietly. Each page is compared with the live rules again, and the Checked date records when that last happened.
Dates
What Published, Updated and Checked mean
Many casino sites show a single "last updated" date that changes every time someone opens the editor, or worse, every time the page loads. That tells you nothing. We show three dates, and each has one job.
- Published
The day the page first went live. It never changes, so you always know how old the article is.
- Updated
Moves only when the text changes: a new bonus figure, a payment method added or dropped, a rule rewritten.
- Checked
The last day we compared the page with Tonybet's live terms and the registers, whether or not anything needed fixing.
The dates sit in the author line at the bottom of every page, right above the footer, next to James's name. If Checked is recent and Updated is older, the page was reviewed and found still accurate.
